Welcome to Crocheting for Autism
Our son Isaac is 4-years old and has been diagnosed with Autism. He is a sweet little boy who needs a lot of "Intensive Behaviour Intervention" (IBI) therapy. IBI therapy teaches life skills by first breaking them down into small, discrete tasks, then teaching them in a highly structured and hierarchical manner.
We have 2 private IBI therapists that come into our home and go to his daycare for many hours a week. To help defray the high cost of this valuable service, I am excited to offer you my custom crocheted items.
Every item has been crocheted by me or by my mother - the wonderful woman who taught me how to crochet - in a pet free, smoke free home.
All money raised from selling our work is going directly to Isaac's IBI therapy fund.
